DAVIS, Calif. – Shea Linnehan and Lateef Wakil had their first career hits as Aggies in a 15-5 loss to UC San Diego in Big West Conference play on Friday. 

The Aggies would plate two in the bottom of the sixth inning on a Nick Leehey two-run home run down the left field line that scored J.D. Mico.
 
UC Davis would add three runs in the bottom of the ninth as Riley Acosta doubled to left field to score Luke Piazza. Carson Seeman then scored Omar Plascencia on a groundout to short Linnehan's first hit as an Aggie scored Acosta.
 
Wakil's first Aggie hit was a triple to left center in the bottom of the eighth inning.
 
Acosta, Leehey and Mico all had two hits apiece.
 
The Aggies and Tritons will play the second game of their series tomorrow at 1 p.m.
