DAVIS, Calif. – The Aggies played the first of two Big West Conference matches this week as they took on UC Riverside at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. UC Riverside won four singles matches en route to the 4-2 victory.

In singles competition, Ryan Torres won his 16^th straight singles match and 20^th on the season with a 6-4, 6-2, victory over Antreas Djakouris. Andras Necz was tied on court two with Nolan McCaig of UCR, 6-3, 4-6, before their match was called.

In doubles competition, Torres and Ryan Morgan won their second consecutive doubles match, 6-3, over McCaig and Daniel Velek. Brett Brinkman and Necz defeated Djakouris and Joshua Roth, 6-3, in the No. 2 doubles match.

The next match for UC Davis will be Saturday as they will take on UC Irvine at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. First serve is set for noon.
