CAL POLY AT A GLANCE
The Mustangs sat in the lower half of the standings for much of the conference season but ended the season winning back-to-back games.
The teams only met once this season with the second being canceled due to COVID-19 concerns in February. In the first meeting on January 15, Cal Poly won 82-74, carrying a 10-point halftime lead. UC Davis opened the second half of that game on a 17-3 run to pull within two points and later tied it at 52 with 8:26 to go. A 10-1 run by Cal Poly regained the lead for the Mustangs and Cal Poly led the rest of the way.
That game was also the last time a UC Davis opponent had four players in double figures scoring.
The Mustangs finished the season with the lowest scoring offense in the Big West at 61.8 points per game and the lowest turnover margin at minus-2.89.
