Davis, Calif. - Carly Sweeney and Macey Newkirk earned MOPs against No. 5 Baylor on Saturday but the Aggies fell 13-7 at the UC Davis Equestrian Center. 

Sweeney scored a 96-87 win in flat to earn MOP and set a new program record in the process, breaking Sierra Gundersen's mark of 93 set Mar. 13, 2021. 

The Aggies took a 3-2 win in flat with Tasia Anstead (85), Sierra Gundersen (88) and Keely Laughlin (90) earning points. Laughlin's score was a career-high. 

In horsemanship, Sarah Finkel picked up her fifth win of the season with a 72.5-71.5 win and Natasha Replogle won 74-69.5. Replogle's score as a new career-high for the freshman. Newkirk finished the day for Aggies in reining, winning 72.5-67 for her second MOP of the season. 

The Aggies are in the midst of a home stretch during which they'll finish the regular season at home. UC Davis will host Fresno State on Mar. 12 for senior day ahead of the NCEA Championships.
