DAVIS, Calif. – The UC Davis beach volleyball team dropped a pair of duals to No. 8 Stanford, Monday afternoon at the UC Davis Beach Volleyball Courts. The Aggies fell by identical, 4-1 scores.
In the first match,
Ashlee Goycoochea and
Rose Holscher earned the lone Aggie win in thrilling fashion, downing Taylor Wilson and Emmy Sharp, 21-16, 14-21, 17-15.
In the second match,
Tabitha Mitchell and
Kylie Miller teamed up to down Maddie Dailey and Jordan McKinney, 23-21, 14-21, 15-10.
UC Davis will head to Long Beach for six matches this weekend, beginning with a dual against Hawai'i on Friday, March 25.
