DAVIS, Calif. – The UC Davis men's tennis team split its matches on the first day of the Golden State Invitational. The Aggies dropped the opener to Saint Mary's, 4-3, and then bounced back with a 4-3 victory over New Mexico State.
The freshmen duo of
Ryan Torres and
Ryan Morgan collected wins in both matches as Torres improves to 14-3 on the season and is riding a 10-match winning streak. Morgan has won four straight and now has 11 victories on the season.
UC Davis will face San Francisco tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
