MEN'S BASKETBALL

News and Notables: The Aggies enter the week on a three-game win streak and have a chance to insert themselves into a higher seed heading into the Big West Tournament in March. At 952 career points, Ezra Manjon continues to hurtle towards 1,000 and will try to do so in front of a home crowd this week. On pace to reach that milestone by the end of the regular season, Manjon would become just the fifth Aggie to reach 1,000 career points within his first three seasons.

News and Notables: The Aggies have won three of their last four and Saturday's contest at UC Santa Barbara presents another opportunity to move up in the Big West Conference standings. Senior guard Cierra Hall is coming off her second conference Player of the Week award of the season and is shooting 61 percent from the three-point line over her last four games.

News and Notables: Coming off wins over No. 19 San Jose State and No. 17 Indiana last week at the Fresno State Invite, the Aggies are headed to southern California for a three-day stint at the Barbara Kalbus Tournament that will see them begin by playing Arizona State on Friday at 4:15. Noelle Wijnbelt leads UC Davis with 34 goals over 14 games with a 56 percent shot percentage for the 10th ranked Aggies 
 
LACROSSE
FEB. 26: UC Davis at California (Berkeley, Calif.) - 2 p.m.

News and Notables: After opening the season with a 16-13 win over San Diego State on Sunday, the Aggies head to Berkeley to take on Cal on Saturday at 2 p.m. UC Davis had five players score at least two goals and three record at least two assists against the Aztecs.

FEB. 26: UC Davis at Fresno State

News and Notables: UC Davis renews its annual rivalry with Fresno State on Saturday, traveling to Fresno for a dual against the Bulldogs. The Aggies are coming off a weekend where they very nearly upset No. 9 UT Martin and will be trying to defeat Fresno State for the first time in school history.

NEWS & NOTABLES: The Aggies are riding a six-match winning streak and will look to build on the momentum this week with two matches. UC Davis opens the week at Pacific on Wednesday and then returns to the Mayra Welch Tennis Center for a Saturday matchup against BYU. During that streak, junior Andrei Volgin has won seven-straight singles matches while newcomer Ryan Torres has clinched four straight and leads the team with eight singles victories on the season.

NEWS & NOTABLES:
The UC Davis women's tennis team returns from a two-match Big West road trip with another conference matchup against Cal State Northridge. The two teams will meet on Friday at the Mayra Welch Tennis Center. The Aggies will then head west to San Jose to face the Spartans on Saturday afternoon. Junior Yana Gurevich paces the Aggies with an 8-2 singles record on the dual season.
 
GYMNASTICS
FEB. 27 UC DAVIS AT SAN JOSE STATE (PROVIDENT CREDIT UNION EVENT CENTER – SAN JOSE, CALIF.), 2 p.m. PT

NEWS & NOTABLES: The UC Davis gymnastics team will look to avenge its dual loss to San Jose State with a meet on the road on Sunday. The Aggies are coming off their best team score since 2018, posting the fourth-best mark in school history with a 196.325. Kyla Kessler and Emma Otsu garnered MPSF weekly accolades for their all-around performances. Kessler was named the MPSF Gymnast of the Week, while OTSU was the Freshman of the Week. Kessler scored a career-best 39.375 in the all-around, while in her debut in all four events, OTSU followed with a 39.300.

FLOSOFTBALL STREAM

NEWS & NOTABLES: The UC Davis softball team is coming off a series victory on the road at Fresno State, improving to 5-2 on the young season. For the second straight week, sophomore hurler Kenedi Brown was named the Big West Pitcher of the Week. Senior Delaney Diaz garnered Field Player of the Week accolade after batting .700 with eight RBI. The Aggies will continue their road trip with five games at the prestigious Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City.

The UC Davis beach volleyball team opens its season with two duals against San Francisco on Saturday at the College of Marin. Sophomore Colleen McGuire returns after pairing with Paloma Bowman to earn Big West first-team accolades. The pair became the first Aggie tandem to take home first-team honors
