Kenedi Brown garnered Big West Conference weekly accolades, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Diaz batted .700 with eight RBI, three runs, and a home run as UC Davis took the three-game series from Fresno State, 2-1, to earn the Field Player of the Week award.Â

The senior outfielder went 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI as the Aggies defeated the Bulldogs 7-1 Saturday.

On Sunday in the series finale, Diaz went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one walk as UC Davis took the series with a 6-1 victory.Â
Brown pitched a pair of complete games, going 2-0 with a 1.00 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 14.0 innings on the weekend as UC Davis took the series over Fresno State to earn Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive time.Â
The sophomore threw seven innings with 11 strikeouts, allowing only one run, in a 7-1 win against Fresno State Saturday.Â
The Aggies will continue their road trip with five games at the prestigious Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City. UC Davis opens the tournament with two games on Thursday, Feb. 24, facing Tennessee and San Diego State.
