Davis, Calif. - UC Davis finished a four-day run at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on Saturday evening in Southern California, finishing fifth in the conference.
The Aggies had 11 individual top-eight finishes across the pool and diving events with swimming held at East Los Angeles College and diving at the Marguerite Aquatics Complex in Mission Viejo.
Sam Rhodes led the Aggies by taking second in the 400 IM in 4:20.58, a collegiate best by nearly seven seconds.
Anna Lee finished in the top eight across three events, placing 4th in the 50 free in 23.21, 5th in the 100 fly in 54.81 and 7th in the 100 free in 51.02.
Dani Fasan took fifth in the 100 breast in 1:03.19,
Caroline Eckel took 8th in the 100 back in 56.17, and
Haley Hoefer was 7th in the 200 breast in 2:19.28.
In Mission Viejo,
Taylor Hornberger scored 294.90 for 5th on the one-meter board and 284.50 for 5th on the three-meter.
Sydney Wren scored 278.05 for fifth on the three-meter and
Taylor Schwarz led the Aggies on the platform with 193.30 that was good for seventh.
