SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – UC Davis freshman
Ryan Morgan used an ace in his third set at No. 5 singles to not only secure his match but give the Aggies a thrilling 4-3 victory over San Francisco, Friday at the Goldman Tennis Center.
Morgan was in a battle with Nikola Kuraica, dropping the second set in a tie-breaker, but then sent the Aggies back to Davis with a victory, claiming the third set, 6-4.

Andrei Volgin won his match at No. 1 singles, downing Nitzan Ricklis , 6-4, 2-6, 6-2. Freshman
Ryan Torres (#2) and junior
Brett Brinkman (#4) also secured singles victories for the Aggies.
UC Davis returns to the Mayra Welch Tennis Center to host Santa Clara and William Jessup. The action starts late Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m.
