LONG BEACH, Calif. – For just the second time in November, the UC Davis volleyball team dropped a match. The Aggies fell in straight sets at Long Beach State Friday evening to snap a three-match winning streak.
After the front end of the Southern California road trip, UCD moves to 14-15 overall and 9-10 in Big West play. The Beach improves to 18-9 on the season and 13-6 in conference action.
The Aggies, winners of their last three on the road, had an off night offensively, hitting only .115 on the evening, while LBSU connected at a .350 clip at the Walter Pyramid.
Senior
Josephine Ough paced the Ags with 10 kills and hit .500 on the evening. Junior
Shira Lahav tallied 13 digs, while
Casi Newman chipped in 17 assists and six digs.
UC Davis will conclude the regular season tomorrow at Cal State Fullerton. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m.
