SACRAMENTO – The UC Davis women's basketball team fell to Causeway rival Sacramento State, 67-45, Tuesday evening at the annual clash at the Golden1 Center. After the contest, the Aggies move to 2-2 on the season while the Hornets improve to 3-1 overall.

Evanne Turner recorded her third-straight game with 20-or-more points as she poured in a game-high 25 points, while adding three boards and three steals.
Redshirt-freshman
Megan Norris was active on the glass, leading the Ags with out boards while chipping in a block.
UC Davis fell early and could not quite make up the ground, only shooting 28-percent from the floor. After trailing 36-18 at the half, the Ags put together their biggest run of the night, pulling within 12 after a 6-0 run with 2:24 left in the third quarter.
The Aggies will make the short trek to Stockton to compete in the Tiger Turkey Tip-off. UC Davis will face Wyoming on Saturday, Nov. 26 and then play host Pacific on Sunday.
