STILLWATER, Okla. – UC Davis sophomore Brianna Weidler wrapped up one of the finest seasons in Aggie history with a 51^st place showing at the NCAA Championships. Weidler covered the 6k on the Greiner Family Cross Country course in 20:17.2.

Weidler became the first Aggie since 2008 to make an appearance at the championship meet. The sophomore qualified by placing seventh at the NCAA Regional a week ago. Her time of 19:28.7 and seventh place finish was the best performance by an Aggie in program history.

Weidler was named the Big West Athlete of the Year after winning the individual title with a time of 19:28.6.
