MOVING ON UP
The Aggies find themselves at No. 9 in the latest NCEA Rankings and have dropped one spot from the previous weeks ranking given the Ags didn't have a meet this past week. The matchup with a very talented No. 4 Georgia presents UC Davis with yet another chance to shock a top-5 ranked opponent. UC Davis also will look to hold off the visiting South Dakota State Jackrabbits who are undefeated to start the season after winning their first meet against Minnesota Crookston in dominant fashion by a score of 14-1.
I TOOK THAT PERSONAL
In a meet that already has enough motivation to go around given the clash of two top-10 ranked teams, it will be extra personal for Margaret Franke. Franke has been the most standout Aggie up to date after back to back meets with MOP honors and a program record 98 score on the Flat last week against Auburn. The former South Dakota State Jackrabbit will be competing against some of her old teammates and will look to make it three straight weeks with a MOP.
AGGIE NOTES
- Reining won last meet against Auburn 4-1
- Flat won last meet against Auburn 2-1
- Kendal Scheiner earned a MOP in Reining with a score of 73
- A different Aggie accounted for each of the 10 points against Auburn
- Coach Jill Humphrey collected her first career win against Auburn
- UC Davis outscored Auburn 859 to 850 in Jumping Seat Totals
