DAVIS, Calif. -- The Big Sky Conference released composite league football schedules for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons as part of the 2021 Football Kickoff media weekend. UC Davis will take on Sacramento State in the regular season finale, as is part of the conference's scheduling parameters.
The full composite grid is available at the Big Sky Conference website.
The three main regional rivalries – namely, UC Davis-Sacramento, Montana-Montana State and Idaho-Idaho State – each take place in the final weekend. Also among the considerations for mapping out a schedule is having each team enjoy a home game in the first two conference games of the year, and at least one home game in the last two Big Sky contests.
The annual Battle For The Golden Horseshoe contest with Cal Poly appears on each of the next three schedules: October 29, 2022; September 30, 2023; and October 12, 2024.
