DAVIS, Calif. – David Goulak led 6-4, 3-1, and Andrei Volgin won the first set of Friday's singles round against Cal Poly at the Marya Welch Tennis Center, but both matchups ended unfinished after Cal Poly won the dual, 4-0, by winning the doubles round and the first three matches to finish.

With this result, UC Davis will return to its home courts for Saturday's 1 p.m. home finale, against Hawai'i, with a 6-8 overall and 1-2 Big West record. Cal Poly will continue its season at 10-7 and 3-0.
