DAVIS, Calif. -- After almost a full week of preparation since its split against Saint Mary's, the UC Davis softball team co-hosts the COVID version of the Capital Classic tournament with Sacramento State from Thursday through Sunday. The slate consists of three doubleheaders: at the host Hornets on Thursday, then at home against Pacific (Saturday) and Santa Clara (Sunday).

- RHP Kenedi Brown fanned a career-high 12 in Wednesday's opener vs. Saint Mary's, then posted her first collegiate save in the nightcap win.
