DAVIS, Calif. -- UC Davis will host five home games, including the 67th Causeway Classic with Sacramento State, as the Big Sky Conference unveiled its 2021 football schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The Aggies will open the year with Football Bowl Subdivision member Tulsa on Thursday, September 2, a contest that replaced a canceled matchup at USC. The non-conference slate also includes a return to the University of San Diego (Sept. 11), plus a visit from first-time opponent Dixie State (Sept. 18), a school in its first year of the reclassification process to Division I.
UC Davis has Big Sky home games against Idaho (Oct. 2), Northern Colorado (Oct. 16), Eastern Washington (Nov. 13) and Sacramento State (Nov. 20). The annual Battle For The Golden Horseshoe game against Cal Poly will take place in San Luis Obispo on October 23.
The Aggies are scheduled to launch their 2021 spring season on February 27 at home against Cal Poly, kickoff times will be announced by league officials at a later date.
