Box Score Palo Alto, Calif. - Shea Gavin scored in the 30th minute and Kalli Wagnon made four saves but the Aggies fell 3-1 to America East foe Stanford on Friday night in Palo Alto.
Gavin's goal came off an assist from Skylar Richards and drew the Aggies within a goal at 2-1 just 22 seconds into the third period as the Aggies started the second half on the attack. It was Gavin's third goal of the season and draws her within two of her career-high of five set last season.

Milou Korthouwer also made a block at the 37 minute mark to keep UC Davis within one. With just three minutes left in the third period though, Stanford's Lynn Vanderstichele put one in the back of the cage to give the Cardinal a two goal cushion that held up throughout a scoreless fourth period.
