IRVINE, CA -- Sophomore environmental science and management major Sage Stobbart tied a school record with seven blocked shots as part of a monster night inside, helping the Aggies erase a 10-point second-half deficit, but host UC Irvine rallied late, finishing on a 7-0 run to pull out a 73-68 victory on Saturday afternoon at the Bren Events Center.

The defeat ended UC Davis' seven-game winning streak, dropping its overall record to 12-10 and its conference record to 7-2.

The Anteaters then came roaring back to take a 33-30 lead heading into halftime.

UC Irvine continued to increase its lead after halftime, building a 45-35 advantage before UC Davis went on a 5-0 run, punctuated by a three from Hall, to trim its deficit to 45-40 with 3:55 to go in the third.
