DAVIS, Calif. -- Winning its second consecutive match, UC Davis women's tennis improved to 6-11 this year with a dominant 6-1 result over visitors Northern Colorado.

The Aggies cruised through doubles play, picking up three wins to sweep the doubles point for a 1-0 advantage. Kelsie Bryant, Sara Tsukamoto, and Nikita Pradeep are all on a three-match win streak in both singles and doubles. This marks a career-best for Bryant, as she improves to 3-4 at No. 6 this year. 

Tsukamoto was the first to finish her singles match, recording a perfect 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 2, with Shirley Hall finishing minutes later with a 6-0, 6-3 win of her own to give the Aggies a 3-0 lead. 

Clinching the victory for the Aggies was junior Kristina Breisacher at No. 4, notching a 6-1, 6-4 match to get back on track, just beating out Pradeep's straight-set win.

After the 4-0 clinch, Northern Colorado would take the match on court five, before Bryant rebounded after dropping the first set to win the super tiebreak 10-4 at court six. 

The Aggies will have a quick turnaround, and play Big West Conference opponent Long Beach State tomorrow at 10 AM, before concluding the weekend against Montana State on Sunday at 10 AM.
