DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis will enter the homestretch of a four-game, three-week-long road swing when it heads to Central California, starting with Thursday's Big West matchup at Cal Poly. Basketball fans can watch Thursday night's game from the Mott Athletics Center, in San Luis Obispo, on BigWest.TV, listen to Scott Marsh's call on Sports 1140 KHTK or through the station's TuneIn internet radio channel by visiting TuneIn.com and searching the phrase KHTK.

When these teams last faced one another, UC Davis scored 53 points after halftime, the most scored in any one half this season, to extend its head-to-head win streak against CP to four in a row. That victory was the sixth straight for the Aggies on their home court, and 10th in the last 12 played against the Mustangs.

That second-half outburst versus Cal Poly also included an outstanding shooting performance from the host Aggies as they hit 17 of 28 shots to post an overall shooting clip of 61 percent.

UC Davis' trademark defense stymied the Mustangs, who led by nine at the break, but shot only 39 percent from the floor (10 of 26), saw the Aggies erase their deficit with a 19-6 run to open the second half, and enjoy another 9-0 outburst to take the lead for good.

Seven of the Mustangs 13 turnovers took place after halftime, which led to 12 UC Davis points.

Last year's game at Cal Poly was a thriller that needed three overtimes to determine a winner. In that 92-84 victory, senior guard TJ Shorts II became the second Aggie in the program's Big West era to record a triple-double; since that game, the other occasion he collected double-digit assists took place this season when the Aggies visited Hamilton Court.

Series Record: UC Davis trails 35-24
Last UC Davis Win: 1/19/19 - H, 75-63
Last Cal Poly Win: 2/2/17 - A, 74-70
Series Streak: UC Davis +4
