DAVIS, Calif. — Following its recent upset win over No. 9 Delaware State (10-5), which included a pair of Most Outstanding Player (MOP) Awards for senior Lilly Ulrich (Equitation Over Fences) and freshman Keely Laughlin (Equitation on the Flat), the UC Davis equestrian team will makes its way to College Station, Tex. for the first of four road meets on the schedule this season at No. 2 Texas A&M beginning at 9 a.m. PST/11 a.m. CST.
ABOUT TEXAS A&M
The No. 4 Aggies (6-3) kicked off their 2018-19 campaign on a high note, collecting four straight wins including a pair of narrow 9-8 victories over then-ranked No. 6 TCU (Oct. 5) and SEC colleague No. 8 South Carolina (Oct. 12)… But the Aggies' streak was halted on the road at No. 1 Auburn, 5-14… Texas A&M is 0-2 against Georgia this season, first falling 8-11 at home (Nov. 16), then, 8-12, on the road (Feb. 9)… Before hosting the Aggies on Saturday, Texas A&M will travel to Virginia to square off against Sweet Briar… Other opponents on the Aggies' schedule include No. 4 South Carolina, No. 1 Auburn, and No. 5 Baylor, before hosting SEC Championships on Mar. 29-30.
