DAVIS, Calif. -- UC Davis went into halftime trailing Boston University 33-31, but fought back from the deficit to take down the Terriers, 75-68 at home Thursday.

UC Davis' overall record moved to 3-5 following the win.

The Aggies had two players score in double figures, led by junior cell biology major Cierra Hall, who put together a double-double with 32 points and 13 rebounds. Senior communication major Katie Toole added 10 points — she scored 10 or more points in all eight games this season — and sophomore environmental science and management major Sage Stobbart added nine points and two blocks.

Those 32 points are tied for the eighth-most in school history in a single game, the fourth-highest at the Division I level, and the second 30-point game by an Aggie this season. On November 19, Toole finished with 30 at Saint Mary's.

UC Davis out-rebounded Boston University 34-31 in Thursday's game, paced by Hall's career-high 13 boards. She finished last year's Causeway Cup game in Sacramento with that same total. She also posted new career marks in field goals made (10) and free throws made (11).

UC Davis forced 13 Boston University turnovers while committing 11 themselves in Thursday's game. The Aggies turned those takeaways into 12 points on the offensive end of the floor. Sophomore Makaila Sanders led the way individually with one steal.

After falling behind 10-7, UC Davis went on a 5-0 run with 5:08 left in the first quarter to take a 12-10 lead. The Aggies then surrendered that lead and entered the second quarter down 21-18.

Boston University kept adding to that lead, building a 33-26 advantage before UC Davis went on a 5-0 run to narrow its deficit to 33-31, a score that would hold until halftime.

UC Davis came out of halftime rallying and had constructed a 40-36 lead before going on a 7-0 run, punctuated by a basket from sophomore anthropology major Kayla Konrad, to expand its lead further to 47-36 with 5:02 to go in the third. Before the conclusion of the third period, the Terriers had cut into that lead somewhat, but the Aggies still entered the fourth quarter with a 57-49 edge. UC Davis played well near the basket, scoring 18 of its 26 points in the paint.

The Terriers proceeded to tie things up at 59-59 before UC Davis went on a 9-0 run, finished off by Hall's jumper, to seize a 68-59 lead with 2:50 to go in the contest. The Terriers narrowed the margin somewhat before the game was over, but the Aggies still cruised the rest of the way for the 75-68 win. UC Davis got up and down the court quickly in the quarter, scoring five fast break points.

The Aggies shot .463 overall from the floor (25-54) — the second-highest clip of the season — and .800 from the free throw line (20-25).
