Provo, Utah – The Aggies ended the first day of competition at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah holding a large lead over Dixie State but with ground to make up against the Cougars and Liberty University.
 
UC Davis picked up points in the 100 IM with Kyla Leacox (58.07) and Mia Facey (58.75) going 2-3 in that race. Leacox's time is the fastest by an Aggie in the 100 IM this season.
 
The Aggies got another 2-3 finish in the 200 Fly when Amanda Wilson (2:07.94) and Sophia Sebastian (2:07.98) touched just four one-hundredths apart. UC Davis wound up scoring three swimmers in the 200 Fly thanks to Olivia Smith's fifth place finish.
 
Swimming the first 800 Free Relay of the season, Olivia Smith, Leacox, Kathryn Bockman, and Wilson notched a third place finish in 7:53.93 to pick up more points for the Aggies.
 
The Aggies will conclude their run at Richards Building Pool with a nine-event program tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m. MST.
