SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Senior
Matt Neufeld scored a season-high 20 points to lead UC Davis as the Aggies battled Sacramento State in the annual Causeway Classic. UC Davis fell 61-51 in the team's annual trip to the Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento.
"I cannot thank the Kings enough for opening up their home to us and giving us this opportunity to play in a NBA arena," said head coach

Junior
Kennedy Koehler scored a season-high nine points and led all Aggies with seven rebounds. Freshman
Ezra Manjon joined Neufeld in double-figures with 10 points.
UC Davis will head to Portland for Saturday's 1 p.m. non-conference road game at 2-4, Sacramento State will continue its season at 3-0.
Neufeld shot 8-for-13 overall (.615) and hit all four of his attempts at the free throw line.
"Matt has been doing a really nice job. He scores around the basket and draws a lot of attention," Les added. "We need to keep going to him because he is a force.
The senior communication major has scored double figures in each of the last three games and is averaging 15.3 points throughout that duration.
