DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis football fans are invited to become part of a new tradition when the first-ever UC Davis Coaches Show takes place at Woodstock's Pizza (located in Downtown Davis at 219 G Street) Wednesday night. Join head coach Dan Hawkins, players from this year's football team, hosts Scott Marsh and Doug Kelly starting at 7 p.m. for this weekly event that will also broadcast live on
UC Davis Athletics' Facebook page.
To help kick things off, Woodstock's Pizza will offer food and drink specials to everyone in attendance.
In addition to reviewing last week's season opener at San Diego State, Coach Hawkins will
share his thoughts
on his team and Saturday's 6 p.m. home opener vs. San Diego - one of six 2016 postseason squads UC Davis will face throughout the 2017 campaign.
UC Davis' home opener will take place on Saturday when the Toreros visit Aggie Stadium for a 6 p.m. non-conference matchup. Fans can
purchase tickets online, over the phone by calling (530) 752-AGS1 (2471) or in person at the Athletics Box Office, (located at Aggie Stadium) anytime between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
