DENVER -- Andre Shinyashiki finished with a goal and an assist, while teammate Graham Smith assisted on all three of Denver's goals on Friday night, helping the host Pioneers to a, 3-0, victory over host UC Davis on Friday night at the DU Soccer Stadium.

The loss dropped the Aggies to 3-4 overall, suffering back-to-back losses for the first time this season. Denver, receiving votes in the latest national poll, improved to 4-3 overall on the year.

Goals in the 36th, 48th, and 83rd, minutes lifted the Pioneers to victory as Eric Kronenberg finished off passes from Smith and AJ Fuller for the 1-0 lead with just over nine minutes to play in the first for the game-winner. Alex Underwood provided the second score just 2:19 into the second half, while Shinyashiki capped the scoring in the final 10 minutes.

Senior Noah Wilson led eight different Aggies with three shots on the night, testing goalkeeper Nick Gardner with one of UC Davis' three shots on goal for the match. Senior Kyle Higgins and sophomore Adam Mickelson also had attempts turned away by Gardner on the night as UC Davis out-shot Denver, 11-7, for the contest.

The Aggies close out their trip to Colorado on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 15) at Noon PT, making the trip to Colorado Springs to take on Air Force.
