SACRAMENTO, Calif. - CBS RADIO's Sports 1140 KHTK will continue to air Aggie football broadcasts throughout the 2017 season, as jointly announced on Wednesday by station officials and UC Davis Sports Properties, the multimedia rights holder for UC Davis Athletics.

"We're thrilled to continue to offer our listeners the best of local college sports with UC Davis football, a celebrated team and a great partner to KHTK," said Chad Rufer, vice president of programming at CBS RADIO Sacramento.

KHTK's relationship with the team, as its flagship station, spans more than two decades.

Calling all football games this season, starting with the Aggies' 2017 season opener on Sept. 2 at San Diego State, are play-by-play announcer Scott Marsh and analyst Doug Kelly.

In addition to this partnership extension, UC Davis Sports Properties also announced on Wednesday the creation of a brand new weekly football coaches show, featuring Dan Hawkins, which will air exclusively on Facebook Live throughout the upcoming season.
