DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis won all three doubles matches, and five of six singles contests in Saturday's Big West Conference regular season finale at the Marya Welch Tennis Center, but what made this victory sweet was the fact that the Aggies sent their two seniors, Kamila Kecki and Samantha Martino, out on a positive note.

UC Davis will end the regular season with a 15-9 overall and 3-5 conference record; UC Riverside falls to 5-13 and 0-8 respectively with this result. Both teams will return to action later this week at the Indian Wells Tennis Center, site of this year's Big West Women's Tennis Tournament.

Providing the ultimate highlight of the day was the fact that Kecki and Martino were undefeated on the day. In doubles competition, the soon-to-be-alums capped an Aggie sweep by topping Natalie Penner and Nicole Hitomi, 6-4.

In singles play, Martino's day ended with an individual sweep, thanks to a 6-2, 6-0 triumph over Arabella Valera, which placed UC Davis one team point away from recording a team victory.

Lani-Rae Green and Kristina Breisacher also swept their matches; they teamed up to win the first doubles match, 6-1, before recording respective straight-set sweeps of their own against Sara Khattab, 6-1 and 6-4, and Tracy Van, 6-1 and 6-0.

Kristy Jorgensen earned the Aggies' fourth team point by recording a 6-2, 6-2 singles result against Karla Dulay, which took place after she and Pradeep defeated Dulay and Khattab, 6-1, 6-4.

Isabella von Ebbe earned the final team point for UC Davis by breezing past Arabella Valera, 6-2 and 6-0.

Saturday's regular season finale capped a three-match homestand for the Aggies.
