DAVIS, Calif. - Nikita Pradeep defeated Tamara Culibrk, a San José State singles player ranked No. 19 regionally, in straight sets by matching 6-2 scores to help UC Davis collect a team point in Friday's non-conference dual, the last against a team this season outside of the Big West Conference, but the Spartans collected the doubles point, and won three singles matches to top the Aggies, 4-1.

UC Davis will enter its final dual of the season, slated for Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. versus UC Riverside, with a 14-9 overall record out at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. San José State will continue its season with a 10-5 record.

The Spartans' earned their fourth team point in the nick of time since the Aggies were in contention for the two singles contests that ended unfinished. Isabella von Ebbe was about to begin the third set of her matchup, and Kristina Breisacher won the second set, 6-4, and just began play in the final frame of her contest when action was halted once SJSU officially won the match.
