DAVIS, Calif. - With this year's Homecoming taking place this weekend, a slew of events, including longstanding university traditions, a celebration for UC Davis' new chancellor, athletics events against local rivals and ceremonies honoring senior student-athletes are available for current UC Davis students, university alums, their family members and friends to enjoy.
Monday, Oct. 23
- If you have not done so already, reserve your seat at Saturday's Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame
- The ceremony consists of an 8:30 a.m. social, followed by a 9 a.m. breakfast and program on Saturday, October 28, at the UC Davis Conference Center
- This year's induction class includes: Dylan Curtis, golfer Austin Graham, swimmer and water polo player Heidi Kucera, basketball player Paige Mintun, and associate athletics director Bob Bullis
- Former Aggie wrestler and mixed martial arts great Urijah Faber will receive the Aggie Legacy Award
- Tom Compton will receive the department's Special Recognition Award for volunteer service
- Tickets to the CAAHOF induction ceremony is $40, which includes admission to that evening's UC Davis-Cal Poly football game (4 p.m. kickoff)

Friday, Oct. 27
New Chancellor's Investiture
- Gary S. May's investiture as the seventh chancellor of UC Davis, a formal ceremony that will confer the authority and symbols of high office, will take place inside the Monday Center for the Performing Arts from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Even though there is no charge to attend, tickets are required for admission

Pajamarino
- In 1912, pajama-clad students first sneaked out of their dorms to greet returning alumni at the train station the night before homecoming
- Join Chancellor Gary S. May and Head Football Coach Dan Hawkins, the Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh! and other student groups for an evening of entertainment, games, face painting, food and prizes
Saturday, Oct. 28
Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame
- UC Davis Athletics will bestow its highest honor to seven Aggies at this year's Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame event
- Festivities at the UC Davis Conference Center will begin with an 8:30 a.m. social, followed by a 9 a.m. breakfast and program
Men's Water Polo vs. Fresno Pacific
- Join the defending league champions, and last year's NCAA Tournament participant, honor its three seniors at UC Davis' final home game of the 2017 season
- The Aggies will host Fresno Pacific in a 12 p.m. Western Water Polo Association clash at School Aquatics Center
Football vs. Cal Poly
- This year's annual Battle for the Golden Horseshoe, a rivalry game pitting UC Davis against Cal Poly, will take place at Aggie Stadium
- Even though kickoff for this Big Sky Conference contest is set for 4 p.m., arrive early to enjoy the Kickoff Street Party
- Enjoy live entertainment, food, beverages, meet Gunrock, and take advantage of inflatables and other interactive events, located next to Aggie Tailgate Field
Sunday, Oct. 29
Men's Soccer vs. Sacramento State
- The final game of the regular season will feature Causeway foes UC Davis and Sacramento State in a crucial Big West Conference match
- With the postseason starting the following week, three vital points in the league's standings are up for grabs in this 1 p.m. matchup at Aggie Soccer Field
- As is the case with UC Davis football, bragging rights are at stake in this rivalry matchup that will mark the final appearance of the Aggies' current senior class
