ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Freshman Yoonhee Kim led the UC Davis women's golf team with a 1-over 73 in the first round on Monday while senior Paige Lee is putting together a 2-under round in the second to help pace the Aggies at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico.

UC Davis was in 16th place at 25 over after play was suspended in the second round because of inclement weather. Play will continue on Tuesday morning before the final round gets underway.

Lee, the lone senior on the Aggies' team, opened her day with a 74 but has three birdies and just one bogey for a 2-under score through 12 holes of her second round. She's tied for 24th at par while Kim is even during her second round. Kim, who is tied for 33rd, also has six strokes remaining and is 1 over overall..

Freshmen Christine Danielsson and Rei Nakatani are both 12 over and tied for 84th while freshman Courtney Clark is tied for 92nd at 31 over. Nakatani shot 76 in the morning's round, Danielsson had a 79 and Clark carded an 89.

Kim had three birdies during her collegiate debut round while playing the front nine to par and going just 1 over on the back. She's added four birdies so far in the second round. Lee also had three birdies in the first round while shooting 1 over on both the front and back nines.

Danielsson opened her day with three birdies and was just 2 over on the front. Nakatani was even on both sides and was helped by a dozen pars.

Oklahoma State is 12 under and has a two-shot lead over Arizona State and is four up on Baylor. Colorado's Esther Lee shot an amazing 61 in the first round and is 14 under. She leads Monica Vaughn of Arizona State by six shots.

Play will resume on Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. (PDT).
