DAVIS, Calif. - The team's annual Alumnae Game and six matchups against local opponents comprises UC Davis' fall schedule, as announced by head coach Erin Thorpe on Thursday.

The Aggies' off-season slate will commence on Oct. 15 when this year's roster faces a lineup of former players in the team's annual exhibition contest, held during the school's Homecoming celebration. This game, featuring current and former Aggies, is one of numerous alumnae gatherings organized by the program that weekend.

UC Davis will compete in its first game of the season (against an outside opponent) the following day when the Academy of Art visits campus for a 12 p.m. matchup at La Rue Field -- the site of all seven contests featuring this year's softball team.

Action will resume Oct. 22 when the Aggies face cross-Causeway rival Sacramento State (10 a.m.) and San José State (2:30 p.m.) in the first two October doubleheaders. The final twinbill will take place the following week against Dominican and the College of San Mateo; first pitch times are set for 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 29.

Softball's final fall game will start at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, against Sonoma State.
