DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis earned a split of the six singles matches played during Saturday's Big West Conference match at the Marya Welch Tennis Center, but CSUN won the doubles point, which ended up being the difference in a 4-3 result that fell the Matadors' way.

UC Davis will enter Sunday's 11 a.m. regular season finale, vs. Hawai'i, with a 10-10 overall and 2-5 Big West record. CSUN ends its 2016 slate at 9-12 and 3-5.

Fans are encouraged to arrive to campus early to help the women's tennis program honor senior Tiffany Pham, juniors Alex Huie and Frederique Sleiffer, three Aggies competing in their final home dual, during a pregame Senior Day ceremony.

Trailing 3-0 after CSUN won the doubles point and the first two singles matches, UC Davis collected its team points when Kristy Jorgensen, Jessie Lee and Pham each recorded singles victories.

Pham was the only Aggie to post a straight-set victory when she topped Kristen Poei, 6-4 and 6-2.

After losing the first set 3-6, Jorgensen defeated Vivian Lin by winning the next two sets, 6-0 and 6-2. By doing so, Jorgensen captured her eighth victory in a row, which also doubled as her 10th of the 2016 spring season.

Including Lee, who won her 14th singles match of the season by posting a 1-6, 6-4, 10-8 result, Jorgensen is the second UC Davis player to post a double-digit singles wins total. If Green emerges victorious in Sunday's contest against the Rainbow Wahine, she will become the third player of the season to accomplish this feat.

With Sunday's final result, CSUN and UC Davis split its last six head-to-head duals. During this timespan, each squad won twice at home and once on the road.
