Dani Judal, freshman
Yasmine Yektaparast, sophomore
Amanda Presswood each snared a first-team nod while freshman
Kara Jones, junior
Yonni Michovska and sophomore
Miranda Holder each made All-MSPF second teams.
Brown, a sophomore from Huntington Beach and Team OC Gymnastics, earned first-team honors on uneven bars and balance beam while appearing on the second team for vault. This marks her third, fourth and fifth All-MPSF awards.
Stamates, an Alamo native and California Gymnastics Academy alum, captured her fourth straight All-MPSF nod for floor exercise and her third consecutive on beam. She leads the conference in each with regional-qualifying scores of 9.875 and 9.865, respectively. Nogaki also made two first teams, ranking fourth in the MPSF on vault and second on beam. Originally out of Orange, California and Wildfire Gymnastics, Nogaki has earned all-conference accolades on vault for three straight years.
Judal, from nearby Antelope and Byers Roseville, finishes her career with seven total All-MPSF honors, thanks to a first-team plaudit on bars. She ranks fifth in the conference with a 9.780 RQS. Freshman Yasmine Yektaparaast and sophomore Amanda Presswood each made the All-MPSF first team on floor, respectively ranking fourth (9.835) and sixth (9.815).
Jones, a former club teammate of Yektaparast's at Edge Gymnastics, grabbed second-team honors on vault with her 9.750 RQS. Michovska of Napa, California and San Mateo GC, picked up her first career All-MPSF award with a second-team mention on bars. Holder, also of San Mateo and another first-time honoree, made the second team on floor with her 9.790 average.
Using the RQS rankings compiled on RoadtoNationals.com, the top gymnast from each of the six member teams earns a spot on the All-MPSF rolls, as does the next six at large. Of that 12 plus ties, the top six â€" regardless of school â€" earn first-team honors while the second team comprises the remaining honorees.
UC Davis looks to defend its MPSF team title in the conference championship meet, held at Sacramento State on Saturday. March-in is 6 p.m. at the Nest.
