DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis Athletics is proud to open nominations for the 2026 Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame (CAAHoF) class and Legacy Award. Induction into the Hall of Fame is one of the highest honors a former Aggie can receive, celebrating individuals whose excellence, character, and impact have shaped the proud tradition of UC Davis Athletics.
We encourage all alumni, fans, and former and current coaches and staff to submit nominations for deserving former Aggies. Your nominations help ensure that the Hall of Fame continues to reflect the very best of our past and inspire future generations.
The deadline for nominations is Jan. 31, 2026, and we encourage submissions as early as possible.
Once nominated, candidates move into the selection phase. Induction consideration for the Chancellor's review and approval requires a quorum vote—defined as four members—of the CAAHoF Advisory Board. Final selections are made annually by the Chancellor based on the nomination pool and the Advisory Board's recommendations.
The number of annual recipients for the Special Recognition Award or Student-Athlete Legacy Award is typically limited to one. Recipients of these awards are not inducted into the Hall of Fame itself, but they receive a plaque and are formally recognized at the CAAHoF and Student-Athlete Awards Banquet.
