STANFORD, Calif. - Kamila Kecki earned a straight-set victory, during the third day of action at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, by topping Eastern Washington's Faye Worrall, 6-3 and 6-4.
Joining Kecki in Stanford on Sunday was teammate Lani-Rae Green, who competed in a singles match of her own. After falling 6-1 in the first set, Green battled back to win the following set by a 6-4 score, before coming up short in a winner-take-all tiebreak that fell in Bourguignon's favor, 8-6.
The pair also competed as UC Davis' lone doubles team, and came up short against Janaya Smith and Faye Worrall. Eastern Washington's duo took this contest by an 8-5 score.
Since additional consolation matches are scheduled at the discretion of tournament officials, and head coaches from participating schools, the Aggies' fall schedule has officially concluded. Action will resume in mid-January when women's tennis participates in its inaugural dual of the season.
