Complete Results & Draws

DAVIS, Calif. -- All four of UC Davis' doubles teams advanced to the tournament's "Championship Sunday," while senior teammates Eli Whittle and Bryce McKelvie will play for singles crowns in their respective flights as day two of the 2016 Aggie Invitational came to a close on Saturday at the Marya Welch Tennis Center in Davis, Calif.

None of the seeded teams remain in the Flight "A" doubles main draw, with two of the three eliminated in the quarterfinal rounds by the Aggies on Saturday. The tandem of David Goulak and Tommy Lam sent the top-seeded duo of Mikus Losbergs and Kasparas Zemaitelis of Sacramento State packing with an 8-5 win, while McKelvie and James Wade took down second-seeded Mathieu Garcia and Alexander Wallace of Portland, 8-1.

Goulak and Lam will meet Santa Clara's Connor Garnett and Robert Seby in one semifinal, while McKelvie and Wade will face Pacific's Jose Chamba Gomez and Alex Giannini in the other, on Sunday at 8:30 a.m., for berths in the flight's championship.

Meanwhile, in Flight "B", both of UC Davis' seeded teams moved on to the semifinals, with the second-seeded duo of Max Pham and Whittle pushing past Portland's Carlos Donat and Andrew Newell, 8-5, and the third-seeded pairing of Everett Maltby and Jesse Ross defeating Santa Clara's Jesus Barajas and Kamran Khan, 8-3.

Maltby and Ross will play for the championship at 10 a.m. on Sunday after the California duo of Ryan Cardiff and Ryan Shen withdrew due to injury. Meanwhile, Pham and Whittle will meet fourth-seeded Donald Hall and Dom Miller of Sacramento State in the other semifinal at 8:30 a.m.

In singles, after posting a pair of straight-set wins on Friday, Maltby was ousted in the Flight "A" main draw quarterfinals on Saturday by third-seeded Mathieu Garcia of Portland, 6-3, 6-2. Garcia will meet California's Bjorn Hoffman, the flight's No. 4 seed, in Sunday's championship at 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, McKelvie will play for the Flight "A" consolation singles crown after posting a pair of wins on Saturday. The senior opened with a straight-set win over Nevada's Mile Cilic, 6-4, 6-1, then upended teammate Jesse Ross in the semifinals, 6-2, 6-4. Ross had defeated Portland's Pierre Garcia, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) in his quarterfinal bout.

McKelvie is scheduled to meet Gonzaga's Vincent Rettke in Sunday's championship at 11 a.m.

The Aggies will play for the Flight "B" main draw singles championship on Sunday morning, as well, after seventh-seeded Eli Whittle upset third-seeded Donat of Portland, 7-6 (2), 6-4, then defeated San Francisco's Woravin Kumthonkittikul in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, in the semifinals.

Whittle will take on California's eighth-seeded Dominic Barretto in the championship after he defeated the Aggies' Pham in the semifinals, 6-3, 7-6 (2). Pham had advanced following a straight-set win over California's Ryan Shen, 7-5, 6-4, in Saturday's quarterfinals.
