DAVIS, Calif. - A home-heavy portion of UC Davis' schedule will conclude on Saturday when the Aggies host Cal Poly in the second game of a home basketball doubleheader. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. or 35 minutes after the preceding women's game ends, whichever is later.

UC Davis, a team that has won three of its last four games, will have an opportunity to extend two streaks this weekend against the Mustangs. In addition to winning their last 11 straight games on Hamilton Court against Big West teams, the Aggies took the last four head-to-head matchups by recording season sweeps over Cal Poly the last two seasons.

By virtue of playing its first game of the week on Wednesday, UC Davis will enjoy two days of preparation for its weekend game. The Mustangs will have a tighter turnaround since they will travel to Davis after hosting the UC Riverside Highlanders Thursday night.

In addition to facing a UC Davis team that is undefeated on its home floor, during league play throughout the last two seasons, it's Cal Poly's turn to see why the Aggies possess one of the most dangerous frontcourts in the conference. For the third straight week, junior center Neal Monson leads all Big West players with his 8.5 rebounds per game average and holds one of the top field goal percentages (.481).

Josh Fox also holds another Big West top 10 field goal percentage (.548) and has been frustrating opponents all season long. In addition to leading the Aggies in scoring at 14.5 points per game, the senior forward has posted double-digit point totals in the last seven games, and is averaging 17.9 ppg throughout that timespan.

Series Record: Cal Poly leads 33-18
Last UC Davis win: 66-56; 2/28/15 at Cal Poly
Last Cal Poly win: 64-41; 3/14/13 in Anaheim at the Big West Men's Basketball Tournament
Series Streak: UC Davis +4
