April 13, 2015 2014-15 MPSF Women's Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team 
DAVIS, Calif. -- Ten members of the UC Davis women's swimming and diving team added awards to their mantels thanks to their performance in the classroom, named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team for 2014-15.
To qualify, each student-athlete had to maintain a 3.00 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, complete one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received, and compete in at least 50 percent of the institution's competitions.
Swimmers and divers representing the Aggies this season include: Sam Rados, Hanna Tears, Caroline Weston, Hilvy Cheung, Kaitlin Leung, Megan Leung, Marrisa LaFreniere, Kirsten Brand, Elise Roberts, and Hilary Hunt. Rados and Megan Leung earned the honor for the third time in their careers, while Tears, Weston, and Hunt, each picked up their second. All others are first-time award winners in their first years of eligibility for the honor.
A total of 73 swimmers and divers earned spots on this year's list. Conference champion Hawai'i and Pacific each placed 13 student-athletes on the honor roll, along with 12 from BYU, nine each from Cal Poly and San Diego, and seven more from UC Santa Barbara.
