Feb. 5, 2015 DAVIS, Calif. -- With wet weather bearing down on Northern California this weekend, the No. 72 UC Davis men's tennis team has postponed its home doubleheader scheduled for Sunday (Feb. 8).
The Aggies will now host No. 70 Nevada and Sonoma State on Feb. 22 at the Marya Welch Tennis Center beginning with the Wolf Pack at 10:30 a.m., and the Seawolves following at 2:30 p.m.
With the postponement, UC Davis next returns to the court on Saturday (Feb. 14) at Noon, hosting Causeway Cup rival Sacramento State. The Aggies, holding their highest Division I national ranking in school history and currently riding a three-match winning streak, defeated the Hornets, 6-1, in Sacramento last season to snap a string of seven consecutive losses to their rivals dating back to 2006.
