MORAGA, Calif. - Highlighted by Kelsie Bryant and Kamila Kecki's doubles upset of No. 4-seeded Stephanie Lin and Audrey Meyer, UC Davis collected four singles and doubles victories during the first day of action from the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex at the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational.

After defeating Cal's ranked tandem in Flight B's Round of 16, Bryant-Kecki advanced to Saturday's semifinal by defeating Eastern Michigan's Maria Paula Ribero and Anna Veleva.

Both victories were won by matching 8-4 scores. Bryant-Kecki will face Ana Loaiza-Jennifer Ong (Sacramento State) tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.

Also competing in the same doubles bracket were Lani-Rae Green and Jessie Lee as they advanced to the quarterfinal round by downing Saskia Angerer-Sofia Wicker (Sacramento State), 8-2.

Samantha Martino and Isabella Von Ebbe recorded the final doubles win for UC Davis when they topped the mixed doubles pairing of Celine Gruaz (Cal Poly) and Emma Wilson (Fresno State), 8-2.

Martino-Von Ebbe will conclude doubles play in Flight C with an 8:30 a.m. match of their own against Yuki Asami-Anneroos Nederstigt (Pacific).

Bryant's success also carried over into singles competition when she topped Cal Poly's Bryn Bacharach in straight sets by 6-4 set scores.

The Aggies' newcomer was one of three players who recorded Flight B singles victories as she advanced to the Round of 16 alongside Green and Tiffany Pham. Green defeated Saroop Dhatt (Portland), 6-4, 7-5; Pham advanced by defeating Stanford's Naomie Rosenberg, 6-2, 6-3.

Bryant will face Cristina Saenz De Buruaga (Pacific) in Round of 16 match at 10 a.m.; Pham and Green will battle seeded players in their respective 11 a.m. contests. The former will face No. 2 Ana Loaiza (Sacramento State) with the latter squaring off against No. 3 Samantha Polayes (Gonzaga).

By defeating Portland's Sarah Hellstern 6-1, 6-0, in the quarterfinal round in Flight C, Von Ebbe will draw either Emily McColl (Sacramento State) or Abigail Bacharach (Cal Poly) in Saturday's 3 p.m. main draw semifinal. If victorious, she could face Martino, her doubles partner, in Sunday's championship.

If Von Ebbe's teammate is victorious in her 11:30 a.m. contest against Saskia Angerer, and the following semifinal matchup, an all-Aggie final will take place on Sunday.

Even though all three fell in Friday's opening round of singles matches, Jorgensen, Lee and Kecki will compete in the consolation half of their respective flights. In Singles A, Jorgensen will face one of four possible opponents in Saturday's 3 p.m. quarterfinal; Lee drew Cal's Audrey Mayer and Kecki will compete against Pacific's Yuki Asami in Singles B afternoon action.
