STANFORD, Calif. - Lani-Rae Green and Samantha Martino defeated their Causeway rivals in doubles action, and three Aggies won their respective consolation singles matches on Saturday at the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships, hosted by Stanford.

By defeating Emily McColl and Andie Mouzes (Sacramento State) in a tiebreaker by a 7-2 score, Green and Martino advanced to the main draw's Round of 16 thanks to their 8-7 match victory.

The pair will square off against No. 5-seeded Jana McCord and Jamie Pawid (Saint Mary's) Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

Three Aggies also advanced to the Round of 32 after defeating their respective opponents in the opening round of consolation singles play. Tiffany Pham downed Anna-Maria Nau (Sacramento State) in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, and Green breezed past Genevieve McCloskey (USF), 6-1, 6-2.

If each wins their respective upcoming singles contest versus Mouzes and Zoe Oedekerk (Cal Poly), an all-Aggie matchup in the Round of 16 will take place.

Kelsie Bryant was the third Aggie singles player to advance in consolation action after winning her third-set tiebreaker against Madison Maloney (Seattle). Bryant easily captured the first set, 6-1, before Maloney battled back to win the following frame by a 6-2 score. In the decisive tiebreaker, Bryant's clutch play helped her post a 7-5 score to earn a return trip to the Taube Family Tennis Center.

Up next for Bryant is Eastern Washington's Rachel Swindell, who will face her second opponent from UC Davis in as many days.

Times for all three consolation singles matches have not been determined at the time of release.
