LOS ANGELES -- UC Davis junior Lucy Lafranchise finished 13th overall in the championship final of the 3-meter board on Saturday, closing out day one at the Bruin Diving Invitational hosted by UCLA at the Spieker Aquatics Center in Los Angeles.

Lafranchise, who stood 16th after the prelims with a score of 235.60, finished with a total score of 503.85, improving three spots following the six-dive final. The 268.25 in the championship round is her second-highest score of the season, and the fourth-best by an Aggie on the high board in 2014-15.

Junior Audrey DeNeffe finished 25th in the prelims with a score of 221.85, following by Hanna Tears in 31st (213.70), Shannon Stewart in 32nd (201.60), Angelina Proshak in 33rd (187.55), and Ani Vemury in 35th (160.45).

USC's Haley Ishimatsu, who was fifth after the preliminary round, was the individual champion with a total score of 601.65, scoring a 321.90 in the final round of dives.

Competition continues on Sunday at 11 a.m., with the women's 1-meter prelims.
