DAVIS, Calif. -- Four home duals, along with an intrasquad scrimmage and an open meet, highlight the 2014-15 schedule for the three-time defending Mountain Pacific Sports Federation champion UC Davis women's swimming and diving team, Head Coach Barbara Jahn announced Monday.

Coming off back-to-back league crowns and an unbeaten dual season (9-0) for the first time in school history, Jahn, who is entering her fifth decade at the helm of the Aggies' program, and her charges kick-off the season at home with the annual Blue-Gold Intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 11 before officially opening the year with a dual against long-time rival San Jose State on Oct. 17 at the Schaal Aquatics Center.

Against the Spartans, the Aggies will don pink swim caps to support breast cancer awareness and research, collecting donations at the door and proceeds from a post-meet swim clinic.

Dating back to a double-dual split against UCLA (L, 135-119) and Washington State (W, 139-119) on Nov. 2, 2012, UC Davis has combined to win its last 16 consecutive duals.

The swimmers then head to the Pacific Invitational on Oct. 18 -- the first of three consecutive dates on the road which also includes a dual with Fresno State along with the divers, and a double-dual in Los Angeles against MPSF rivals Loyola Marymount and San Diego.

Home meets against Nevada (Nov. 8) and conference foe BYU (Nov. 15) follow on consecutive weekends before the Aggies close out the fall portion of their schedule with the divers heading to the three-day Wildcat Diving Invitational in Tucson, Arizona, on Nov. 21-23, and the swimmers competing in the Lone Star State as part of the Texas Invitational in Austin on Dec. 4-6.

For the first time since 2007, UC Davis will host an open meet to kick-off the second half of its schedule with the Aggie Open on Jan. 10, one of just four events prior to the MPSF Championships in mid-February. The Aggies' divers head to the Bruin Diving Invitational in Los Angeles on Jan. 17-19, while the swimmers face league rival UC Santa Barbara on the road in a dual on Jan. 24. UC Davis closes out the regular season with a "Senior Day" home dual against Pacific on Jan. 31.

The league championships from from Feb. 18-21, splitting time between East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, California, for the swimming events and the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center in Pasadena, California, for the diving events.

Last season, the Aggies finished with a total of 712.5 points -- the third-highest total in MPSF Championships history -- to sprint past UC Santa Barbara (638) and BYU (620) for the title. UC Davis has claimed three of the four MPSF titles, wearing the crown in 2011, 2013, and 2014.

The 2015 NCAA Championships, which featured Aggies' Liliana Alvarez and Hilvy Cheung last season, open on March 19 at the Greensboro Aquatics Center in Greensboro, N.C.
