DAVIS, Calif. -- The doubles duo of Alec Adamson and Adam Levie are into the main draw doubles finals at the Battle in the Bay while Aggies advanced to five championship matches at the UC Santa Barbara Classic as the UC Davis men's tennis team completed day two of its second fall weekend on Saturday.

After opening with a pair of wins on Friday, Adamson and Levie continued to roll through the field in San Francisco, defeating a pair of Bay Area rivals to reach Sunday's championship. The Aggie duo opened with an 8-3 win over Thomas Hunt and Arthur Weber from Saint Mary's, before rolling to a semifinal victory over Pacific's Alex Hamilton and Sem Verbeek, 8-5.

They will face USC's team of Nick Crystal and Connor Farren in the finals at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in Santa Barbara, Bryce McKelvie and Everett Maltby reached the championship match of their respective singles flights while Jesse Ross and Tommy Lam advanced to the finals of the Flight C doubles competition to highlight day two action on the Central Coast.

McKelvie defeated a pair of Gauchos en route to the final in straight sets, downing Nathan Eshmade, 6-2, 6-2, and Erik Johnsson, 6-3, 6-2. The sophomore, who is in the main draw singles final for the second straight weekend following a 4-0 run through the Aggie Fall Invitational, will face another member of the UC Santa Barbara squad, Cody Rakela, in the championship on Sunday.

Maltby took down a pair of Big West Conference opponents in straight sets on his way to the Flight C title match, defeating UC Riverside's Sean Robles, 6-1, 6-4, and Cal Poly's Devin Barber, 6-1, 6-4. He will take on Fresno State's Youssef Hassan on Sunday for the championship.

Staying in Flight C, this time on the doubles side, Jesse Ross and Tommy Lam will compete for the doubles crown following their win over Cal Poly's Axel Damiens and Naveen Beasley, 8-5. They will take on Grand Canyon's Arjun Bal and Meidy Chazeau for the title.

In consolation championship matches, Lam will face-off against the Antelopes' Chazeau in Flight C singles, while a pair of doubles teams will battle it out for titles. Bacharach and Maltby will meet the tandem of Felix Van Kann and Jamie Thorp of Loyola Marymount in Flight A, while McKelvie and Wade meet Cal Poly's Barber and Tim Tan in Flight B.
