Rain Halts Play at ITA Men's Regional

MORAGA, Calif. - Adam Luba and Mitch Thorp were set to compete in the doubles consolation third round on Monday, but inclement weather in the Bay Area has forced the cancellation of Monday's matches at the USTA/ITA Northwest Men's Regional, hosted by Saint Mary's College.

Luba and Thorp will take on Oregon's Brent Chin and Michael Schaeffer in an attempt to advance to the consolation quarterfinals. The winner will face Pacific's Alex Golding and Alex Hamilton, the bracket's ninth-seeded doubles team.

In other Sunday action, Alec Haley and Kyle Miller took on Kent Andreason and Paxton Deuel in the second round of the consolation doubles bracket. The Aggie duo was edged 8-6.

A revised order of play for Tuesday will be released later on Monday.
