UC Davis Wraps Up Play At Bulldog Classic

FRESNO, Calif. - Josh Albert was the only Aggie in play on Sunday, as the UC Davis men's tennis team wrapped up its competition at the Bulldog Classic hosted by Fresno State.

After a semifinal win in the flight C singles on Saturday, Albert came up short in the finals against Fresno City College's Christian Fisher, falling 6-3, 6-4.

Other highlights from the tournament included George Horowitz winning the flight C consolation bracket and Toki Sherbakov, Kyle Miller and Chris Aria taking wins in the opening rounds of their respective singles draws.

UC Davis will be back in action at the ITA Northwest Regionals in three weeks, traveling to Seattle, Wash. on Oct. 21-25.
