Day One Results

STANFORD, Calif. - UC Davis started their fall schedule at the ITA Northwest Regional in Stanford, with Toki Sherbakov picking up a pair of wins on day one for the Aggies. Eight Aggies were in action at the annual tournament, with first and second round singles taking place on the first day.

In the round of 128, Sherbakov got past Portland State's Jeff Cero after a 6-0, 6-0 win. He also won in the round of 64, after defeating Danny Diaz of Sacramento State, 6-1, 6-2.

The remaining Aggies who saw action on Friday took losses in the first round and will begin play in the consolation draw beginning Saturday.

The first round of doubles, the round of 64, will begin Saturday as well.
